Cat S.N.I.P.

Our CatSNIP (Spay Neuter Incentive Program) campaign to encourage responsible cat ownership has been a great success. The program provides a voucher to assist people not financially able to spay/neuter their cats. Most veterinarians in the area will accept the voucher, for which we reimburse the vet upon request. This program was started in May of 1994, and is potentially the way which our shelter may most effectively reduce the unwanted cat population in our area.
ENCOURAGE EVERYONE TO SPAY/NEUTER THEIR PETS!!

Please note that as of June of 2007, we have temporarily halted issuing vouchers for spay and neuter. We are unable to provide funds for this program due to the construction costs of our new shelter. We do hope to reinstate this program at a future date.
