CAToberfest typically brings $10,000 to The Scratching Post. The proceeds are used for the general operating expenses of the shelter, ie: cat food, litter, utilities, maintenance, and medical issues.
We will be having two pre-event raffles a Cash Prize Raffle and our "Early Bird" Split the Pot raffle. For the Cash Prize Raffle, we will draw from the raffle entries twice. The first winner will receive $300 in cash and the second winner will receive $200 in cash. The drawings for both the Cash Prize Raffle and the Split the Pot Raffle will be held on Oct 3rd before the event. Winner need not to be present to win and will be notified by phone.
