Our minimum age for volunteers is 18. If you are interested in volunteering, please complete the form below and e-mail it to volunteer@thescratchingpost.org and someone will contact you with shift availability.
First time volunteer orientations are typically held on a mutually agreeable date.
Typical Daily Volunteer Chores
Cleaning (windows, walls, carriers, brushing cat trees, etc.)
Sweeping outside catios, front offices, litter room
Folding towels/do laundry
Socializing the cats
Rinsing aluminum cans for recycling
Restocking supplies
Transport cats
Break down cardboard
Special Projects for Volunteers
Deep clean of Laundry Room (date to be determined)
Deep Clean of Litter Room (date to be determined)
