NexTrex Bench Challenge
Hello Scratching Post Supporters! We have an exciting opportunity to win a free NexTrex Bench but we need your help! We need to turn in 1,000 pounds of plastic by December 5, 2026
These are the plastics you can collect for us.

Just bring the qualifying plastics to the shelter any day between 10am and 4pm.
Or you can drop it off yourself at one of the participating locations. Just weigh your plastic, take a picture of it being dropped off at the participating location, and then email us at Recycling@TheScratchingPost.org
with the weight, date of drop off, location of drop off, and the picture.

Recycle Your Aluminum Cans!
Drop off your empty & cleaned aluminum cans at the shelter for recycling. Please deliver cans to front door any day between 10am-4pm.

Not sure how to determine if your cans are aluminum? Try the magnet test! A magnet will NOT stick to aluminum.​
Other Donations
Donations such as food, litter, toys, gently used bath towels or pillowcases are always welcome.
